The Association of Korean Woman Scientists and Engineers (KWSE) and International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES) operate an international research project on policy, KWSE-INWES Gender Perception in Science and Engineering (GISE).

Under this project, we conduct a survey to evaluate how scientists and engineers across several regions in the world perceive 'gender barriers experienced by women in STEM. Through the survey, we investigate the level of awareness of gender barriers in the fields of science and technology by country/region and all responses will be used to draw out policy agendas to expand women's participation in STEM, as well as to promote regional and national development in sciences and technology.

The details of the survey can be found on the INWES website (inwes.org).
