Korea’s first international conference of women scientists and engineers
on convergence technology, under the theme of “Converging Bio,
Information, Environment, and Nano technologies” in 2003 in
commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Innopolis Daedeok and the
10th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Korean
Woman Scientists and Engineers (KWSE)

Objectives

  • Produce synergy through multidisciplinary exchanges in science and technology - Bio, Information, Environment, Nano, Energy, Space

  • Establish a foundation for Korean women in STEM for cooperative research with international scientists and engineers

  • Contribute to uplifting the global status of Korean female scientists and engineers
